AUGUST 28th - SPRTS Issue #3 Release at Printed Matter INC
In case you have not been keeping up with SPRTS, the second issue of our magazine maintained the high standard put forth by our pioneer-contributors who came together for our June Issue. The second issue of SPRTS featured artists who work internationally, and some first-hand reporting from the ground in Brazil, during this most recent World Cup.
After taking part in the sensation that is the World Cup, SPRTS has landed back in NYC. With the upcoming release of our third issue, we have decided to feature one of our favorite SPRTS teams of all time, Downtown GIRLS Basketball, in a feature editorial. The August issue of SPRTS will debut at an exclusive release event at Printed Matter INC on August 28th, where we will also be featuring the work of our previous contributors, and all issues of SPRTS to-date.
We are still accepting submissions to the August Issue of SPRTS, and will maintain a rolling-submission policy. With this said, submissions for the August Issue of SPRTS (Issue #3), should be received via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than August 16th.
SEPTEMBER 26th-28th - New York Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1
This year we will be taking part in the highly anticipated New York Art Book Fair, held at MoMA PS1. Our table will be located in the (Xe)rox & Paper + Scissors section of the fair.
