NY Art Book Fair @ MoMA PS1

Next Thursday begins the much anticipated NY Art Book Fair, curated by Printed Matter, Inc. For our first appearance at the NYABF, we will be tabling at the (XE)ROX & PAPER + SCISSORS section of the fair. Our table number is A-22, just to the left of the entrance.

The Schedule of the fair is as follows....

Thursday Sept. 25th // NYABF Preview - 6-9pm
Friday Sept. 26th - 12pm - 7pm
Saturday Sept. 27th - 11am - 9pm
Sunday Sept 28th - 11am - 9pm

With the exception of the Thursday night preview, we will be highlighting selected works during each day of the fair. Friday will feature a guest appearance from the Hamburger Vampire, to celebrate the original Endless Edition, Lunch Is Very Important: All The Secrets To Life You Never Knew You Knew as well as new, never before seen editions by Zebadiah Keneally and an array of fresh, Hamburger Vampire t-shirts. #imsohungry

Saturday will be dedicated to SPRTS. We will be showcasing all previous issues of our publication including a very limited amount of Copa Mundial Especialito issues. Come and grab your much overdue issue of SPRTS August Edition featuring Downtown Girls Basketball, listen to some jock jams, and get your books signed. Previous contributors to SPRTS have included Steve Arenius, Andrew Marshall, David Kennedy Cutler, Sara Greenberger Rafferty, Zebadiah Keneally, Christian Fuller, Anna-Marie Settine, and many more.

The final day of the book fair is our "Editions Day" will curate a selection of new books and prints. Our recent editions include a hand-bound photography book by Stephanie Land called Casting Shadows Revealing Light, and The Widow Bull by master printer Phil Sanders both in editions of 200 as well as a riso edition and limited pigment print edition by Ashley May. Ashley May's recent editions are previews for a much more complex set of two publications A-M and N-Z which will be premiering at February's, LA Art Book Fair.

Until then, we have a ton of work to do. See yinz during Thurston Moore's set on the steps of PS1 next Thursday.
