ENDLESS FAIRS >> ENDLESS EURO TOUR
This spring + summer Endless Editions visited six countries, participated in eleven art book fairs, and hosted a handful of educational programming. It was nuts. We survived.
Here's some photographs from the most recent Euro Tour (Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands).
First: Royal Institute of Art >> We hosted a zine making workshop at the Royal Institute with their first year students. It was a five day workshop where we created an edition of forty-two sewn zines. The concept of the book, The Day After Paradise, was derived from apocalyptic films such as, Blade Runner & Metropolis. It also included a twist of irony satirically referencing the Swedish reality television program, Paradise, where the guests live lavish lives V similar to MTV shows such as Real World.
Second: Miss Read Art Book Fair >> Woah, Berlin welcomed us with open arms and tons of falafel + Club Mate. The fair ended with an impromptu Riso UN meet and greet. It was delightful.
Third: I Never Read Art Book Fair >> Basel was rainy but the publishers were so cozy. Our Neighbors, Pop-Up Press, who are Basel natives were very welcoming + accomodating. We had a blast with them.
Fourth: Jan Van Eyck Academy >> We were also happy to visit Jo Frenken at the infamous Van Eyck. He has an amazing set-up and invited us to return in November for the Magical Riso Biennial Conference. Stay tuned for updates.
Endless gratitude to all those who made it possible & were so unbelievably hospitable that it makes our collective hearts melt.
